JET HARRIS FAN CLUB

Welcome to the Jet Harris Fan Club website. On the 29 March 1985, following the very first time I had ever met Jet, I was involved in setting up and running a fan club for him, which still exists today. During the 1980s the club issued a monthly magazine, this dropped to bi-monthly during the 1990’s and these days a newssheet when there is anything major to report. With the advent of the internet information became more readily available and instant, and although there are a number of Jet Harris sites on the world wide web I feel the Jet Harris Fan Club can offer something a little different, I hope.

The aim of this site is not to report the everyday things about Jet, as I say there are other excellent sites for this type of information. The aim of this site is to bring to a wider audience the wealth of material that I have collected about Jet over the years, both prior to actually meeting Jet, and after, while running his fan club.

Also this site is dedicated to Jet’s solo career after leaving The Shadows, again I feel there are excellent sites dealing with that stage of his career.

Please visit the site on a regular basis as I will be adding items on at least a weekly basis, and I am sure to start with on a daily basis. For certain I will also be up dating this introduction as we go.
